Fine vessels direct to you
Tuition only covers part of the total costs associated with delivery of our boat building programs. As a nonprofit we also rely on proceeds from the sale of School-built boats and donated vessels to maintain the financial health of our School.
School-built boats
Our classes build more than a dozen boats of varied sizes and design each year. They are chosen from our preferred designs to fit each course requirement and can be commissioned in advance, purchased while under construction or selected from our existing inventory. We also consider custom commissions on a case by case basis. Learn more.
Donations
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization donations to NWSWB may be tax deductible. Donations may be used in our repair and restoration program or as a fundraising tool. Learn more.
Repair and restoration
We are looking for wooden boats in reasonable condition but in need of some structural and/or cosmetic work. Under the new (2005) tax rules we may be in a unique position to help you maximize your tax advantage. Please see Donations for complete details.
Fundraising
Boats of any size or type in saleable condition will be considered. These craft should require only minor repair or cosmetic work. Proceeds from these sales go directly to the support of our operations and campus development.
