In this class you will learn the basics of oar making. You will learn how to layout a pair of oars including the tapers and blades. The class builds a set of oars for the Lamberson Skiff.

It is an option to build your own set of oars in this class. Contact Kendra Seaman at 360-385-4948, ext. 304, to discuss additional materials needed and the details of your oars. Students building their own oars should not expect to complete their oars during the 2-day workshop, but should have the knowledge to complete them at home.
