Grandy Lapstrake Skiff

Vessel description

For 45 years the Grandy Boat Company built wooden power boats on Seattle’s Lake Union.

These skiffs were built for a West Seattle Boathouse and the Seattle Parks Department. NWSWB builds them using time-tested traditional construction methods. Copper rivets are used for plank fastening and all fittings are bronze or brass. The interior finish is a special blend of oil, turpentine and Pine tar we call “Boat Sauce”. It is easy to maintain and very good for the wood. The exterior finish is white polyurethane with a blue shear plank.

Comes standard with one pair of oars.
